Wholio is made by an independent developer in Australia. It has no ads, it doesn't sell data, and it never connects to your bank.
- No bank logins. Wholio never asks for your bank password or connects to your bank.
- No ads or tracking. No advertising, no analytics, and no cookies. Your data is never sold.
- Yours only. Other people can't see your data, and it's never used for anything but running Wholio for you. Without an account, everything stays on your device.
- Leave any time. Download everything as Excel or CSV, or delete your account and data in Settings.
Questions
Is Wholio free?
Yes. Wholio is free to use, with no ads.
Do I need to connect my bank?
No. You add spending yourself or scan the receipt. Wholio never asks for your bank login.
Is there an app to download?
Wholio runs in your browser on any phone, tablet, or computer. You can also install it from your browser, so it opens like an app and works offline.
Can I use it without an account?
Yes. Without an account, everything is saved on that device only. Sign in with Google or your email to sync across devices.
Which currencies does it support?
Any. Pick the currency you think in, and spending or assets in other currencies are converted with daily exchange rates.
Where is my data stored?
If you sign in, your data and photos are stored in Sydney, Australia, and other people can't see them. See the Privacy policy for details.
How do I put it on my phone?
Open wholio.app in your phone's browser. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, tap Install when your browser offers it, or use the menu and choose Install app. It then opens like any other app.
Can I import from my bank?
Not yet. Wholio doesn't connect to banks. You can type spending in, scan receipts, or add up to 100 receipt photos or PDFs at once.
What does Wholio mean?
It's short for whole portfolio: your spending, budgets, cash flow, and everything you own and owe, seen together in one place.
